This notice is for pre-orders made through TryCelery in 2018.
Your Kapsul Preorder from 2018 is on hold until August 2020
Please note that the service that we used to take your preorder in 2018 (TryCelery) is no longer offering preorder fulfillment effective immediately and has not and will not be providing us with help in migrating your order to another platform.
What does this mean?
This means that we must migrate your order information to our e-commerce platform before we can allow you to complete your purchase.
Will you honor my preorder?
We will absolutely honor your preorder and whatever discount you received when you signed up in 2018. We have a complete record of your order size, discount code, name, email, and shipping address on file.
So what's the problem then?
Since TryCelery was handling commerce, we don't have your credit card information or any way to charge you for your order until we migrate your customer information.
When will this happen?
We are working to do this as quickly as we can, but this is unexpected and we will need time to migrate your orders. We anticipate doing so in August 2020.
Will I get my preorder in 2020?
We're not sure how quickly we can do this and we, therefore, understand if you need to get another air conditioner before we sort this out. That said, we do anticipate finishing the migration sometime in August 2020.
Do I need to do anything?
You don't need to do anything whether you want to receive your preorder or you don't. There is no need to cancel because we don't have your payment information! If you want to receive your preorder, you will be able to do so by responding to our email inviting you to claim your preorder. PLEASE NOTE: You need to wait until we invite you to claim your preorder because we need to migrate your information into our commerce platform.
No one has been charged!
We want to reiterate that no-one has ever been charged for making a 2018 preorder and that we will not charge you (and in fact can not since we have no credit card information on file) until and unless you respond to our email invitation to claim your preorder.
Sorry — and we do know that this is a hassle and a disappointment, but TryCelery's decision to get out of this business is beyond our control and not something that they consulted us on.
