The only way to keep the Kapsul on at all times is by having it on snowflake mode or Max AC (the snowflake symbol at the bottom of the knob).
If it is not on snowflake mode the Kapsul tries to reach the temperature setpoint (let's say 72 degrees for the sake of this explanation) and blows cold air and runs the fans in a way that it thinks is best to get the user to 72 degrees in comfortable fashion.
The Kapsul manages humidity, temperate, energy use, and user comfort by:
- Turning fans on and off
- Ramping them up and down to be quieter
- Running them at a lower speed so they are less loud
The above results in the unit "turning on and off."
We view this experience as a feature, not a bug and it is intentionally designed to be this way.
If enough of our users provide us feedback that they do not enough this specific experience we would be willing to explore an "always-on mode" that keeps fans at a lower speed.
